This week: Psalm 95

‘Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD’ (Ps 95:1)

We saw last week how the psalmist moved from lament into praise.
How?
1. By remembering God’s hesed – his unfailing, covenant love.
2. By rejoicing that God is the one who saves him.

This week we move into a Praise Psalm.
Sherwantha will be preaching on Psalm 95, so you’ll need to read it before Sunday.

This week: Psalm 13

What happens when life doesn’t go right?
Where’s God in our suffering?
Hey, didn’t Psalm 1 say the righteous will prosper?

All these questions are prominent features in the Lament Psalms which we’ll be looking at this week.

You’ll need to read to Psalm 13 before Sunday.
We’re looking forward to hearing from God as Sherwantha preaches on the psalm.

This week at RED – Psalm 1

This week at REDunited we are starting our 5 week sojourn through the Psalms.
To kick us off I’ll be preaching on Psalm 1.
Some of the things we could be doing in preparation for this week’s sermon is:
1. Reading Ps 1
2. Noticing the difference between those who follow God and not
3. Noticing what this says about God
4. Figuring out how to use Ps 1 to tell the Gospel story

I hope this encourages you to serve God in everything you do this week.
