Something awesome, my intensive at college was looking at apocalypic literature on Thursday. The class went through just about everythign that our group went through and we spent ages on the seven churches. i got to know bunch of little fun facts like the greek word for Satan is Opponent. I dont know if you guys knew that already or not, but i found it interesting so i thought i would share it on here cause it's fun. Another concept that i was introduced to was "Seduction to spiritual adultory". I know at first it sounds rather strange. But the longer i let the concept sink in, it started to make sense. We explored what adultory actually is: adultory is something that's happening in the wrong place. Seduction is a process where you are being drawn in, its something that is very subtle. So as a class we explored what does it mean to stay faithful to Jesus in our fertality?? And how being faithful is a choice that we make. We ended up with a whole lot more questions than answers, so i can't offer many answers, but i thought its something good to be thinking about. Hence me chucking it up on here! This would be at the intersection of Warrigal Rd & Centre D/nong Rd. Charlie can be contacted on 9558 2045, 0408991334. He will be at the intersection all day looking after the team and supplying all needs. Ideally he would like 8 people at the intersection at any one time. It would be great if we could supply a team for a shift or even part teams for different shifts. Any help is much appreciated. I was thinking during our Bible study the other night about Jesus telling Peter to look after his sheep (John 21). It's imagery of a shepherd that has come up in John before (Jn 10). We were wondering where the imagery/idea of the flock of sheep, who they were, God as shepherd, etc comes up in the Bible beforehand. <strong>Ezekiel 34</strong> came to mind.
